WHEN WOULD
YOU RECOMMEND EXECUTIVE COACHING TO BE USED?
You would recommend executive coaching when an
individual:
- Wishes to change key
behaviours identified by formal appraisal processes (e.g. 360 Degree Feedback)
or from direct feedback 'on the job' quickly and effectively
- Would not feel comfortable
addressing a problem or performance issue in a group setting
- Does not have the time to
attend a training course
- Feels it is more appropriate
to address their development needs in confidence with an 'independent'
specialist (this is especially the case with CEO's / MD's and very senior
staff)
- Is likely to require support
over a period of time
- Has tried other approaches
without success.
