This highly popular 3 day Performance Coaching course is an important part of our Executive Coach programme. The Executive Coach Programme is made up of a number of courses, which integrate with each other to provide specific skills sets for existing or aspiring coaches. Other courses in the Executive Coach series are: Emotional Intelligence, 360 Appraisal Feedback and the NLP Business Practitioner. We also have a number of one day Key Skills workshops which will give you an overview and some practical skills in these subject areas.

The Executive Performance Coaching Programme covers in depth the structured, outcomes-led process whereby you guide an individual through business problems and challenges in order to clarify issues, challenge limiting beliefs, generate solutions, evaluate options and decide on a final compelling course of action by utilising their own unique resources. Your client's / coachee's use, in turn, of these skills in a company setting with their own staff or colleagues is being heralded as the way of creating the Learning Organisations of the future. In short, such coaching will enable your clients and their staff to improve performance in key results areas by unlocking their potential and teaching them how to learn.

HOW IS THE COURSE STRUCTURED?
You will receive a pre-course study pack prior to attending and be encouraged to complete some recommended reading. In addition we ask you to complete a Personality questionnaire and you will receive a report on the course, which describes your Coaching and Influencing style. As part of the programme you will receive a comprehensive manual and a toolkit of exercises and models that you can use with your clients.

The course is structured to appeal to all learning styles and provides a mixture of theory and practice in the form of; stimulating talks, lively discussions, realistic role-plays and real world case-histories.

As part of your pre course study, you will be asked to complete a Personality questionnaire. Feedback will be given during the programme which will give you insight into your preferred coaching and influencing style.

This is a 3 day programme will enable you as a coach to help an individual by:

WHEN WOULD YOU RECOMMEND EXECUTIVE COACHING TO BE USED?
You would recommend executive coaching when an individual:

  • Wishes to change key behaviours identified by formal appraisal processes (e.g. 360 Degree Feedback) or from direct feedback 'on the job' quickly and effectively
  • Would not feel comfortable addressing a problem or performance issue in a group setting
  • Does not have the time to attend a training course
  • Feels it is more appropriate to address their development needs in confidence with an 'independent' specialist (this is especially the case with CEO's / MD's and very senior staff)
  • Is likely to require support over a period of time
  • Has tried other approaches without success.

WHO WILL BE RUNNING THE PROGRAMME?
Your Trainers
The modules are presented by experienced Business Coaches who have held senior management positions within the corporate world and currently work as Organisational Psychologists within Industry.
The core Q-OPD programmes are run exclusively by Nina Len and Richard Lewis. Nina Len has a Masters Degree in Occupational Psychology, is a former Senior Manager in Industry and is a Certified Trainer of NLP.
Richard Lewis was formerly Strategic Development Director of a Multinational, MBA Lecturer and is also a Certified Trainer of NLP.
